Selman Duran is an assistant professor of business and finance at Istanbul Medipol University. His main focus of reseach is corporate business strategies and financial planning. He has been teaching corporate finance and accounting. He is now contributing to the editorial process of academic journals as associate editor and reviewers.

Introduction

In the last two decades, there has been a significant change and development in capital markets and competitive business environment. In digital age, new issues shape boundaries of existing competition in different industries from production to financial services. Individualized products, Cyber-physical systems (CPS), Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, and cognitive computing are some of the critical factors in this transformation, the so-called Fourth Industrial Revolution or Industry 4.0. In Industry 4.0, systems have been created to support the transition to intelligent production so that they can exchange information independently and manage the industrial production process. Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before March 02, 2020, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified very soon following their submission or by the 07 March, 2020 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by the 02 May, 2020 and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at www.bussecon.com prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
